Report Usage
The Report Usage tab provides detailed usage analytics for a selected report within the defined date range.
Components
1. Statistics Section
Displays key metrics per report:
- Report folder
- Created date
- Created by
- Report status
- # of users with access
- # of report active users
- Share of active users
- # of report views
- # of views per active user
- Decommission date
- Last view by any user
Values are recalculated according to the selected date filter (where applicable).
2. Views & Dashboard Consumers Chart
- Dual-line chart showing trends for report views and dashboard consumers.
- Displays monthly data within the selected date range.
- Updates dynamically when the date filter changes.
3. Details by Users Table
Displays individual report usage.
Columns:

| User ID | Unique user identifier |
| # of views | Number of views performed by the user |
Behavior:
- Vertical scroll appears if records exceed the visible area.
4. General Permissions
Displays access information for the report.
Columns:

| User Name | Last + First Name |
| Principal Name | Unique user identifier |
| Department | User department (if available) |
| Group Name | Assigned group |
| Action | Permission action performed |
| Action Date | Timestamp of permission update |
Behavior:
- Vertical scroll appears if records exceed the visible area.
Filters and System Behavior
Date Filter
- Supports custom From / To selection.
- Affects statistics and chart data.
Permissions
- Users with Editor or Admin licenses can manage report permissions.
ETL Connector Check
If the ETL connector is not configured, display the following message:
"To output data on the use of the report, configure the ETL connector."
