Users

Admin can create, configure, and delete users in the Admin panel.

List

Admin can see all users in one list.

Also, on this page, Admin can:

  • for the user by name, using the search field

Order by

  • change the number of the list point for one page of pagination, from 10 to 35
  • sort the list by Name, Email, Creation date, or Last update date

Delete

  • delete one user entity using the trash icon in the list
  • tick several entities using checkboxes and delete them at the same time
  • tick the checkbox near the search field and select all users
  • click by Delete All button and remove all users

Create / Edit

The Create new user and Edit user pages consist of two tabs:

General

This tab contains all general user information and settings.

In the Create new user page (Single creation), Admin can:

Password Policy

  • All passwords at Analytics Hub are encrypted.
  • Upon first login, the user must change their password.
  • One year after the last password change, the password becomes invalid, and the user is required to update it.

Licences

Reader

Users with the Reader license are allowed to:

  • view objects on the Analytics Hub
  • use filters, search, and advanced search
  • add objects to the Dashboard and to My Workspace
  • manage personal profile
  • send comments for the objects
  • export to .xlsx or .pdf

Editor

Users with the Editor license include all Reader features and are also allowed to:

  • move objects to another category
  • copy objects
  • create, edit and delete objects
  • create, edit and delete categories

Admin

Users with the Admin license include all Editor features and are also allowed to:

  • manage permission for the objects and category
  • have access to the admin panel to manage instance settings in general

Groups

This tab allows Admin to manage user group assignments.

  • In Edit user mode, Admin can see which groups the user belongs to and can add or remove the user from groups.
  • In Create new user mode, Admin can assign the user to one or multiple groups.
  • Alternatively, Admin can assign users to groups via the Groups page.
