User Types
The Analytics Hub provides users with a single access point to all the corporate analytics. What you can do with the objects inside the hub depends on your user type and permissions.
General User Types - Analytics Hub
There are 3 general user types available to manage objects in Analytics Hub: reader, editor and administrator.
Reader
This role gives you a set of rights to view the content in the tool.
- You can view all visible objects in the application, save objects in your workspace, and add objects to your dashboard
- You can write comments and start business processes (according to your permissions)
- Export one object description into PDF or xls format.
Editor
You have all the privileges Readers have. In addition to this, you can create and update objects and provide information about them. As an Editor, you can:
- Create objects
- Create categories
- See and edit all visible objects
- Duplicate any visible objects to create a new draft from it.
Administrator
You have all the above privileges to manage assets in the application. In addition, you are responsible for application customisation, including:
- Global settings: instance name, logo, mail server, etc.
- User management.
- Permissions.
- Integrations.
- Content management, including:
- import / export;
- information model (metamodel) customisation: object types, attributes, relations;
- menu and filtering panel alterations.
Special User Types - Accton Auditor
For Accton Auditor Module there are two separate roles that can exist in any combinations with the general Analytics Hub roles.
Accton Auditor Reader
You have access to the module that provides analytics over BI tools: user behaviour and their activities; reporting environment; license utilisation etc.
Accton Auditor Admin
You will have access to the module that provides analytics over BI tools, and you can also change what information on this analysis dashboard will be available for Accton Auditor Readers.
